CapCut documents an online silence-removal workflow. Features and controls can vary between mobile, desktop, and web versions, so use the workflow available in your editor.
Cut manually when needed
If your version has no automatic option, zoom into the timeline, listen for a pause, split at its boundaries, and remove the quiet section. Close the gap and review speech pacing and video sync.
Preprocess a recording in the browser
Choose your original audio or video in our silence remover, set the minimum pause, and compare the result. For footage, keep video in the download so audio and picture are shortened together, then import that file into CapCut.
