VIDEO BASS
Video bass booster
Give a thin video soundtrack more low end. Boost the bass, keep the picture, and download the new video or only the audio.
This free video bass booster adds low end to the soundtrack of an MP4, MOV, or WEBM video and keeps the picture. No signup or watermark, and the video is processed on your device, never uploaded.
Try a short original beat, then hear it with the bass boosted.
Boost the bass of a video in three steps
- Choose an MP4, MOV, or WEBM file, or press Try video sample.
- Adjust the bass amount and the frequency region. Compare with the original while the video plays.
- Press Export bass-boosted video and download the result.
Better bass for speech and music videos
On a phone speaker or earbuds, a thin voice sounds distant. A modest boost of 4 to 6 dB centred near 160 Hz restores body to speech, while 100 Hz suits music videos, gaming clips, and dance footage. The sub-bass setting at 60 Hz is for headphones and subwoofers; on a phone it can sound like nothing, so pair it with harmonic bass.
The picture is untouched
The video track is passed through to the new file while the boosted soundtrack replaces the old one. Timing stays the same, so lip sync does not drift. The export container depends on your browser: MP4 with AAC audio where supported, and WEBM with Opus audio otherwise. You can also switch to audio only to download an MP3.
Avoid clipping in loud clips
Videos with music are often already loud. Boosting bass adds energy in the range where most of the loudness lives, so the tool lowers the level before the boost and limits the peaks afterward. If the preview still sounds crunchy, reduce the amount a few decibels or move the boost up in frequency.
Privacy and file size
The whole process happens in your browser, so private footage never leaves your device. Large videos need memory while the soundtrack is decoded, so work on shorter clips on a phone.
Frequently asked questions
How do I boost the bass in a video?
Choose the video, adjust the bass amount while it plays, and press Export. The bass-boosted video is created on your device.
Does the video bass booster add a watermark?
No. There is no watermark, account, or upload.
Which setting should I use for dialogue?
Use Warm (160 Hz) with 3 to 6 dB. Larger boosts make voices boomy.
Why is the exported file WEBM?
Browsers that cannot encode AAC audio export WEBM with Opus audio. Chrome and Safari typically export MP4.
Is the video bass booster free, and is there a size limit?
Yes, it is free with no signup or watermark. There is no upload limit because nothing is uploaded. The file is decoded in your browser’s memory, so the tool warns above 150 MB: very long files may be slow or fail on a phone, and a computer handles them better.
All processing runs locally in your browser memory via WebAssembly and Web Audio. Files never leave your device. Built-in peak limiting prevents audio clipping.
